Oh boy...looks like I've got some work ahead of me! The very first hanger and shackle lowering kit produced for an 08+ truck (that I know of)...hope it fits right considering how much fun it is going to be to get the factory hangers off the frame. Thanks Ford for deciding they needed to be welded AND riveted!

They are calling it a 3/4, I will measure carefully before and after.

Fat fingered on my iPad...not responsible for typos!

You'll need every bit of a 22" to make it look right. The 6.7 has a large front clip that is hard to pull off with anything smaller.

Finally a bit of progress, thanks to JD. These shipped today, can't wait to be back to running HIDs! I have not been impressed with the LED headlights or fogs.

Headlights are in. JD did an awesome job. HID Projector conversion is awesome, kicks the crap out of the LEDs I had in the truck.

Lowering kit is NOT installed yet...still sitting on a shelf about 10' from my desk...same as it has been for about 15 months now. Any "spare time" I've got right now is going toward getting the race truck running again. Hopefull after I get that done.

Yes Zane, it's in! I thought I texted you that day and told you. Thanks again! Would really like to do your whole turbo setup one of these days, but at the rate I'm working on my own vehicles it will be a while.

5 months since the last update...I just never get to work on my own stuff!

Finally started getting the lowering kit installed today. Ran into a small snag, the I-Beams are going to drop the truck 3.5", which is too much. The last time I had an I-Beam drop that low the tires smacked the fenders if you hit a bump while turning...not cool! Had to make some spacers to take some of the drop out of it, or I would have gotten farther today. Anyway...some pics...

Hopefully I can get the backsides painted before I leave the shop, and get the front end put back together on Monday. At that point, the "easy part" will be done.
