Slides right in, can do it single handed. It's not much heavier than other drop hitches.. the one benefit is you can actually get a 2.5" shank.

Your lifting 100 lb wheel and tires up on to 8 little studs.. I'd rather do this.

If you don't need the spacer. That's really cool and makes it a ton easier.

I've been super busy lately but a little update. "Back the Blue" will be an indoor display vehicle at Sema 2017. So this build will be fresh for Sema. Means a lot more time to get things done. (Thank goodness cause I don't get 24/7 to work on it)
We've also teamed up with some of the most amazing companies in the industry to make this truck bad ass.. we might also be going just a little taller on the lift now.
We've been slowly collecting things that will need to go on this build while laying out the groundwork for the major components. The next major undertaking will be getting the suspension and deciding exactly what components will be Blue and black. I'm sure some of you have seen trucks that were. Little over done. I think simpler is better sometimes. I'll need some input on what you guys think!

Here's a few of the companies products we have teamed up with. More details of each product will be shown once I get around to taking pics!

Parts are trickling in here and there while we wait on bigger stuff...

Amp Research has power steps dialed! Not only have they taken the market they have made a heavy duty option for those in rugged conditions. Not to mention an easy to install OBD2 set up!

Amp research has helped with many of our past builds! The parent company Lund International is a huge aftermarket vehicle advocate!

This looks like it is going to be a killer build. Tuned in for sure.

It will ramp up shortly. I'll have to update with a few more pics. Wheels are finished and ready for pick up, a speaker box is now being designed( which has to be done before it ends up on jack stands permantaly), wrap ideas coming along, finally nailing down powder coating. Ordered powder of a couple different colors we are going to spray and see which one turns out better.

The AE Alloy 20x12 wheels ended up on the door step from the big Brown van yesterday. These wheels were specially done and left bare for the custom powder coating we will be doing. Before powder they scuff the wheel to help with powder adhesion. These wheels will be secured using V&V Concepts lugnuts. Prismatic powder will be used on this entire build! We are sampling base coats for our Blue currently.

Originally I was thinking of doing the hoop part of the wheel gloss black with the center blue. The center caps are black plastic and may not paint well. So I'm going to do the entire wheel in Prisimatic LP Blue. It will have the black center cap and black VV Concept Lugs. What do you think?

There are no current plans to ****** this truck. However that may change (always does)

Diamond eye performance makes great fitting and quality exhaust systems. Wether you're looking for a turbo back system or a *** back they got you covered.

We are going to play around with high temp ceramic costing to match the tip...

Got a couple things powder coated. If you're in Az. Competition powersorts and powder coating does awesome work.

We are using Prismatic Powders LP Blue over Super Chrome.

this is a Gen-Y Hitch. If you never checked them out I suggest you do...

A few pics of testing the color on the AE Alloys wheels and Gen-Y Hitch. We bead blasted them Diana dan laid Prismatic Powders Super Chrome as a base. We then finished itnoff with LP Blue. The color is exactly what I was looking for and happy with how it turned out! Once the truck is fully disassembled we will have over 200 pieces to powdercoat! I still need to decide if I will be highlighting the wheel with a color matched black to the truck. The center cap and lugs will both be black. I'll have to mount one up and see if that's enough.

Roadwire Leather Interior shipped out the leather I ordered for this build.

These are not just a cover but a replacement cover. They fit better than factory leather and it's much better leather. Between leather colors, suede, perforated, stitching and colors you have millions of options.

The best part, from time of finalizing order to delivery was 48 hours
