made an intake..

Had an s&b intake and after the turbo upgrade my filter minder was constantly getting sucked in.. So I made this. Machined the maf plate at work on a vf3 and tig welded it to a 5" 30* elbow. The boot is a 90* 5.5-5.0" reduction elbow. The filter is afe. Still need to paint it. But what a difference!! I can hear my turbo whistle now but nothing dramatic. Feels like she pulls harder up top

Dang , that's some cutting edge stuff !

Nice. Was gonna make one myself then found a used no limit for sale.

Thanks, means alot coming from you! Wanted to add more detail to the plate but ran out of time..

Thanks guys. I'm just a machinist making engine and trans dies for the big 3.. And do fabrication on the side after work every day at my house
