If you're going to keep it stock I don't know why the need to swap a cummins in place of a 97 7.3.

I was thinking that as well. For what you will have into a swap, you could refresh that PSD of yours (not even modding) and get an easy couple hundred thousand miles out of it.

i am weighing my options , right now my engine leaks from the rear of the oil pan , needs new glow plugs , new valve cover gaskets , it is still having a starting problem , the dealer told me it is the IAT sensor and the ebp sensor , i had a thread on here before about it after i got it back from the dealer and everyone told me those are not the problem , so im at the point to either dump money into this engine and hope it lasts longer an i dont run into any problems such as electrical because of the way my truck is , or swap in a cummins.
