2 weeks ago I did a flo pro egr delete, polished intake elbow and CAC pipe. Also installed sinister coolant filter kit.

Egr install went pretty smooth, as well as sinister kit. I bought Corbin clamps because the crappy ones that come with kit leaked like a seal.

Now my next issue is that the truck puked coolant before egr delete. Thought that might fix my problem, but it didn't.

Notices some smoke from under hood. After further investigation, I found the source. Right across from the yellow blue red wires in this picture, there is some type of black gasket. Any ideas what this is? Oil is barely coming out and it's venting like my CCV does. Same color smoke.

That's the injector harness I think. Pic is hard to see

I can't get a good picture of it with out removing fender liner.

See if I can get a better one later.

Can any damage occur from it leaking? It barely leaks.

Guess I hit it with the cooler when I was removing them.

So from what I have read, puking coolant usually means head gasket/head bolt fail.

Is this correct?

IMO yep, that is usually the problem, especially on a '08. If you can get it to puke on a consistent pattern (like WOT and getting the boost to around 50), you could always run a pressure test off of the degas. A positive pressure test means the heads need to come off (checked for cracks and a new HG/studs).

Yes. And I would suspect that you might have just pulled the grommet out for the injector lead.

that would be the gloplug harness. not the injector harness. just push it back in so its fully seated. if its torn i would replace the harness.

hopefully the truck isnt puking on you...

How long can I ride like this?? It's not drinking coolant, just puking when I give it hell. And I don't look at boost when I'm gettin on it lol, rather see where I'm going.

On another note, boost does build stupid fast since egr delete and new CAC pipe

For the record, I don't have the camo steering wheel cover, and I replaced the mats with some weather techs

Fixed my oil leaking issue. Had to take the damn fender liner out to get to it. Popped the little gasket back in. Guess it was glow plug harness.

Opinions on a good fuel set up?

Worth it for stock injectors and turbos?

I wouldn't worry about it personally. Unless you going to add more fuel later. Only benefit to an airdog or the like for you now is a little better filtering setup.

Thanks.

I read the fuel sticky but's it's all geared toward larger injectors, nothing stock.

Guess I will leave it alone for now...

If you do the AD now, unless you do the CAT filter or something else similar, the filtration (down to 4 microns) isn't better than stock. Of course, the filter is a LOT easier to change. Unless you do the fuel bowl delete, you still have to get replace that one and you can't buy them separate last time I checked.
