Well the trucks getting some work done this winter so I decided to make a build thread of where the truck started and update with the new upgrades. The truck started off with an SCT with deletes. It then got a spartan and went for a while on a 275. It then got a beta 310 where it put down 562 hp and 1178 ftlbs on dunbars dyno in 09. With 47k miles on it the truck had a big miss and had oil out of the exhaust. It went in to Ford to see if it was anything warranty would cover. After months of it being at the dealership they made the decision to deny my warranty. I decided to do the work myself and went and picked the truck up in 2 pieces.

The piston had cracked

The cylinder was fine so I did a light hone and put a new piston in. Put Elite studs, EGR delete with waste gate, ported fuel rails, elites stage 1 hpfp, and my custom fuel system on.

The chassis was finally on its way to the cab

The truck ran great for a while but the events I was competing in required more.

The truck as it sits now has 60% nozzles, twin K16s, 6.0l manifolds, pushrods and valve springs, an MVR waste gate, 71 mm elite Atmo, no limit piping, And a custom intake setup as well as a 4 link from pure performance.

The setup has done very well for me. It has put down 862 HP 1683 ft lbs on fuel and 1101 HP and 2002 ft lbs of torque on spray. It ran 11.90 @114 and 11.60 @117 with a small single stage sprayed from 300' to 1000'.

The truck is coming apart this year to get Rods, Pistons, 100% nozzles and a set of turbos they are yet to be decided as well as oil cooler relocation and alradco radiator and inner cooler.

Thanks guys. I'd like to be 4 digits on fuel but I'd be happy with mid 900s. Nitrous should be close to 1250-1300.

Have you thought about throwing on some new manifolds like mpd or rcd? Not sure what turbos but I'd think any flow would help reach numbers like that.

No not really. The truck loves the 6.0l manifolds and I really don't see much of a gain by switching. I'll gasket match and coat the manifolds this go around though

Just so I have this straight....you put down 862 HP on fuel only with only the stock HP and Elite's 71 LP turbo? If so, I guess that shows how much fuel (with minimal turbo upgrades) can give you and I am amazed it was capable of that. Out of curiosity, what kind of temps did you see with that setup at WOT?
