Drivers bank not firing

The way IDMs are suppose to work, if it senses some type of electrical short, it'll shut down that bank to protect itself.

It sounds like you have some type of electrical gremlin going on. I would check the wiring very carefully.

Well I really didn't want to put his in I was afraid it would burn it up. Than I would have to buy two.
Is it possible there could of been water in the idm. It's missing the small round breather and my inner fender where it bolts to was rusty and wet. My idm sat in the house for a week. could it of dried out and started working?

I opened up my idm and there is definitely sign of water being in there. There's a a lot of white aluminum powder from the case corroding. I don't see any corrosion on the board at all. There does look like a water line about a 1/4" up across the bottom of board.

With this one working do u guys think it's alright or its on its way out.
