Alright everyone. I'm sure some of you know me/the truck from instagram. I've kept this under wraps, except instagram and a few friends. My instagram name is @hurc_f250, you can also follow the build there.

Sooooooo let's start from the beginning shall we? My truck was having transmission issues, took it to my local guy and we figured out it was the torque convertor. So we had that fixed and reinstalled. On the test drive for the transmission, the truck died. After a long discussion and talking to multiple people, I/we determined that the HPFP blew up. Just my luck (I just replaced it 13 months before hand to prevent this issue). So at this point I decided to build my truck.

Here's where it got fun, I talked to Kevin Mcgay (rescuef250) and told him my ideas for the truck. I told him I only wanted him working on my truck since it was this in depth. So, for short, here's the rundown, 76/62 Elite Precision highpowers, 75% injectors, dual fuelers, built shortblock, built heads, and all the other small things that help play a part in the build.

The goal? 800hp fuel only, reliable daily driven truck.

So, with a little help I was in contact with Chris Corbin. We figured out a time and date and Corbin picked my truck up in TN and delivered it to Kevins shop. Corbin was flat out amazing to deal with, if I ever meet him in person I have to shake his hand.

Kevin started working on the truck yesterday. Took the cab off, planning on taking the tranny/motor out and working on getting the long block ready to go. I have pictures I'll upload and continue to upload as I get them.

The deadline is Rudy's fall event in October. The truck has to be finished by then. I'll fly to Kevins Shop and pick the truck up and roll with them to Rudys. So let's see what we can do.

Got a couple pictures from Kevin. Motor is out. Working on disassembly now. The front cover is shot. Bad cavitation on it. Rocker arms are shot, which I knew they were.

He said pistons looked good over all, no cracks that he seen, and the walls looked good. He said one may have some concern but the machine guy will determine that.

Hopefully I'll be ordering parts late next week.

Well everything is apart. The Block was cleaned, checked out, had to be bored 20 over. No big deal. Pistons and cam arrived. Block was flat, no warpage. I reckon the block is going back together.

Hmmmm well, digging this thread up from the grave. Been in a slump with money so the build just kinda stopped. Anyhow, the money is back and it's full force forward. The final decision was made on the truck, parts are coming in fast, and hopefully it'll be done in around 4-6 weeks for sure this time around.

So I decided to go a different way with the truck. I'm doing a single turbo on stock fuel. Going with MPD kit and a top of the line comes with everything but the kitchen sink s467 Turbo. Like I said, I'm keeping stock fuel and injectors, but I'm doing a custom fuel cooler relocate made my Kevin, a Fuel bowl ****** and a custom Fuel lab low pressure system down below on the rail. Along with all that, I had my up pipes made to fit 6.0 manis, 4" downpipe and all the piping heat wrapped and a nice turbo blanket. A new shiny radiator and Intercooler came from Mishimoto. Intercooler pipeing has yet to be decided (will probably do powder coated no limit hot and cold pipes) that's just about all the news except some small odd and in things that are still getting worked out.

BIG thanks to Kevin McGray @ Rescues Diesel Performance for helping, advising, guiding, and putting up with me in this drawn out build. But, it's all coming to an end here soon. I'll be posting updates and pictures on the regular as I get them from Kevin.

Here a picture of Boxes for now!!
