Hey guys earlier I was driving home and noticed my check engine light was on. Truck was running fine no shuddering or anything. Anyways I got home and checked the DTC's and PO275 popped up, 5th cylinder contribution/balance. The truck is deleted and was on level 1, I up'd the level to 2 and cleared everything, so far so good. any ideas? Thanks!

I will! What if it does? I'm not even sure what the contribution/balance means?

Could be a bad injector or low compression on that cylinder.
Service Instructions / Part Replaced

P0272 X X Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance This error occurs when the cylinder balance controller output has exceeded its allowed minimum or maximum value. Injector, cylinder (compression)

P0275 X X Cylinder 5 Contribution/Balance This error occurs when the cylinder balance controller output has exceeded its allowed minimum or maximum value. Injector, cylinder (compression)

Hopefully it's just the injector if it comes up again😅 now I'm definitely going to watch it. Thanks for the help! Where did you find that?

That's good to hear then. My truck would be in the shop for a couple weeks if I took it in.
Anything tricky with taking them out? I've never done injectors on my trucks but I've got a feeling I will be here sometime soon since I threw the same code😅

How do you know it went out ?
Did you have ford diagnose it ?

And which injector ?

There's a dead miss at idle and when driving. According to the tuner its #5. And no ford hasn't diagnoses yet I've gotta put the truck back stock before they will touch it.

Gotta make buddy buddy with the diesel specialist at your dealership and then take her in, I hope all goes well with warranty! Keep us posted!
