No more lift!

I bought an 08 with a pro comp stage 2 lift kit. I want to go back down to stock height or a 4.5" rough country lift. Will i need to buy a complete stock suspension to go back down to stock? Or is there a way to use some of my suspension now? I didnt put the lift on and it is an expensive lift as it is so i dont want to have to put a large amount of money in it.
