Are the rear spring packs different from a 2wd 2008 F-250 and a 4wd?

2 or 4 doesnt matter. what matters is the axle ratings on the door sticker.

I'm having a hard time finding shocks for my 2wd everything aftermarket is made for 4wd. I want to put the Carli commuter spring packs on the rear of my 2wd for better highway ride. I don't want to lift my truck. Can't find any aftermarket shocks for the front, not even bilstein 5100's, if I lift the front 2.5" will 4wd shocks work? The carli spring packs, says they will give me 2.5" lift in the rear, then could I use 4wd shocks. Looking at the carli commuter 2.0 kit, would like to use fox shocks, icons, or kings
