Well the saga continues, blew the front crank seal out this morning and I'm leaving tomorrow so that's it for 7 weeks.

hopefully its just the seal and not an exploded oil pump.

I exploded mine threw the front cover on kong with the ati dampner but never had a issue with stock sent the ati back since there are right up the street from us and they said it needed to be rebuilt after only like 30 passes

A handful. Wes beech, Craig and a few others.

I can't say it is and rpm issue, I've never had that problem.

I just wonder if it's an alignment issue. I have had them "click" when building an engine, then loosen it back up, turn the crank a few and tighten slowly and the click went away. Since there are no dowels in the front cover I can see this happening. A always install, rotate and then tighten so that way it kind of finds it's center.

Yeah, they say your supposed to freshen every season. But that's just them covering their a**. If the damper is truly bad it could ruin the pump. But the whole thing would vibrate and idle rough etc. it would be noticeable. Seems like it's just a freak thing that only happens once in a while. Seems that they are always after an engine has been put together too. I have not seen a factory installed one bust yet.

But it's not a common enough problem for anyone to get too worked up about. Unless your one of the unlucky ones.

Well The truck ran flawlessly for the past 3 weeks, I did have a new exhaust pipe between the turbos made because the one I made was leaking. Still screwing around with my trans tuning trying to get that dialed in. Was rained out the day I wanted to get to the track do that will have to wait till spring.

Also replaced the OBS with a 6.7, loving this truck
