Did you see the pictures of what he did to his crossmember getting that engine to fit? Going to guess and say that had something to do with the flex.

I would love a fx4 grille but them thangs are rareeeee. Im slowly weedin out the chrome. it was so many posts i was followin but dont remember the cross member, i think he made custom mounts.

I run 40's and 24x12's on 16.5 " of lift and without 2" spacers I would rub the springs at full lock, I put the spacers on and don't rub anymore....
