Well, it's ***king crunch week for sure. I've been killing myself getting everything ready to finish the truck this weekend. The situation with my heads has been a crazy deal. I've had several sets fall through and I was getting ready to head to ford to buy some new heads, and Tadd came through on a set of heads for me. I bought a set of his heads with big valves that were in stock. (Super Excited) So I picked them up and dropped them off to be coated this afternoon. I'm super thankful that the coater was willing to work with me and rush my stuff - otherwise none of this would have worked out!

I was really hoping to have the motor back from the machine shop this afternoon, but that didn't happen. I'll pick up the motor tomorrow and start assembling it as soon as I possibly can.

I thought about it, but I would have still had to have the machine shop check them and possibly resurface them, and still at that point not have hardened seats and the aftermarket valves - not to mention bigger ones. Plus.... My timeframe left me no choice lol. All in all, I'm happy with how it worked out, even though it took some years off my life. Lol

Good to hear buddy. I'll check on ya Friday and see how things are coming

Talk to you then!

Glad to hear you were able to get the oversized valves....I figure you will need them considering your atmo has a 200+ turbine. LOL
