Well... after my headgaskets leaking for a few months, i decided to pull the trigger and get it fixed. so arp's, oem headgaskets, new oil cooler, stand pipes, deleted the egr cooler, 6.4 banjo's, were put in to do work.

truck runs awesome! seems to run alot smoother. my mechanic at ford said the cross hatching in the block was still very visible! and the heads, valves, guides all looked really really good. this makes me feel alot better about holding on to this truck for a really long time!!! :ford:

Had it towed to the Ford dealership the other day since it got struck by lightning.

Couple projects done today.

Mounted the Valentine One to the rear view mirror, no more wires hanging down or suction cups on the glass.

Installed my pyrometer in the drivers side manifold, mounted the gauge to the A-pillar.

Tested my tunes for my E99 To see what EGT I have been running. Not too surprised to have 550°-625° on flat ground everywhere from 55-75mph, but pleased with those numbers. WOT up a 6% grade from 10-90mph peaked at 1150° then dropped as the speed limiter de-fueled the truck after 90mph. I have no reason to ever go faster than that in an 8000lb truck.)

So productive day, now it's sprinkling and time tune up the mountain bike.

Here's a couple pictures from RiffRaff East. Me in the show & shine, the Harley 6.0 beside me had a 8 inch lift on 20x14 with 37x13.50. It was a sharp truck, guy said he was on here. Maybe he will speak up.

The sleds were free to run. I ran 3 times, it was very fun. The truck is absolutely filthy now. But it was worth it.

Looks good

Thanks, i hate the chrome bumpers....maybe i'll find time to take the front off this week and get it powder coated gloss black...that should really set it off and i'm trading my chrome tow hooks for black ones... I drool over your truck with the american force wheels on it almost every night.......:drool::drool::thumbup: and then with the boat hooked up to it....pure sex....

nitto 420's hooked well i take it?
It was my first time pulling, but they surprised the heck out of me. I thought they hooked excellent. Wheel speed was easy to keep up and was a smooth ride. I kept up with the Riff Raff pulling truck down there.

Plus I had plenty of wheel speed, most the 7.3 and 6.0 guys had MT or AT and would hook and literally just pull the sled 1/2 to 3/4 the way down the track. Just like they was pulling a trailer down the road. I'm not sure if they were scared or cautious.. or both. But it was a bunch of people's first hook.

That made your truck look 1000000x better in my opinion.

I agree 100% but it just took a little time to get it done, these harley grilles ain't exactly cheap up there with rbp grilles...then another 350 for paint on top of it. my front end has more in buying parts and paint work then my other truck costs...lol the front bumper and tow hooks will make a huge difference, then a rigid dual row 20" led light bar and the front end of the truck is done paint wise.

I'm familiar with wraps, my buddy had his bumpers and grille wrapped and its been about 2 years and it peeling....My plan is to powder coat these bumpers and eventually once i get tired of a black bumper swap the front onto my 97 f350 and buy a new or used if i can find them in perfect condition bumpers for my 6.4 and have them painted to match and 3m clear bra over them to protect from rock chips.

It looks great. I like the idea of a black bumper. I love color matching, but I can't stand the sea of white that some people do. The black will really pull good together with the rest of the truck.
