    2003 6.0 code P2285

Can’t edit the post for some reason, I do not have a pin out available right now, should be fairly easy to find online. Also make sure the wires are spliced to the correct pins at the sensor. I’ve done that several times when I’ve been in a hurry Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    2003 6.0 code P2285

If it’s 0v koeo, you need to start chasing wiring. One should have 5v, the other 2 should have continuity to the pcm. One will be signal return, which is internal pcm ground, the other is signal, which is basically where the resistance of the sensor is at at the given pressure. Other question...

    2003 6.0 code P2285

What is icp voltage key on engine off? Should be .23. 03 sensors are notorious for leaking and shorting the pins in the pigtail with oil, or seeping up the insulation and damaging the wires further up Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Compound Turbocharged 6.0L Powerstroke Engine

Yeah we were working with Odawg’s diesel to get a 7.3 compound kit setup for sale, not sure whatever happened to it, but I did get one installed in one of our test rucks. Think we made close to 700 to the tire with it on fuel. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

2003 6.0 rough and high idle

The p0046 is for the vgt actuator, the 67x codes are glow plugs. Seems like there’s a lot of shit going on here. Check the harness where it runs under the turbo. Could be chafed there and have broken wires. Your first post said you replaced the harness, correct? Did you replace it with a new...

2003 6.0 rough and high idle

Is it kinda fuel knocky and real rough? Check your eot sensor. I’ve had quite a few that had broken lock tabs on them, and while I was doing a turbo or something it comes unplugged and runs terrible. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    auxiliary water pump

An, ok. The pump should just have 2 or 3 bolts that hold it to the lower fan shroud. Disconnect the hoses from it, yank it out. If you’re ditching the radiator for it too, that’s 1 bolt, and lift it up, it’ll slide out of the trans cooler or condenser bracket it’s slid into. Then pull the hoses...

    auxiliary water pump

Why? Common rail systems develop a shit load of heat in the fuel, and need to be cooled somehow. Did you relocate the cooler or something? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    04 ex w/low hpop pressure

I’ve got a theory this has to do with just the kits. Seems I’ve had better luck installing individual stand pipes and dummy tubes rather than the kit. Granted the kit is like 1/3-1/2 the price of doing them individually, but for the lack of headache someone can eat the cost. Hell I had the...

I’d recommend either warren or twisted. Personally have a twisted in my truck, and like it. Haven’t run a warren, but heard very good things. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Dana 60 front axle u-joints?

Not at all. Wrench on a ring gear bolt towards the top of the housing, and a pry bar on a bottom tooth of the ring gear and it will kinda roll out. To put it in, a good heavy dead blow and some solid whacks and it’ll go back in. A dead blow won’t damage anything, as it’s plastic. You can also...

    Dana 60 front axle u-joints?

Yeah, there are inner axle seals inside the axle tubes. They’re kind of a pain in the ass. Requires pulling the carrier, and I’ve only done it with the tool from ford, but I’m sure there’s a way to South African engineer it to install the new seals Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
