This is with Motorcraft 10-30. Truck has around 5800 miles.

Was reading this thread a few months ago, so I remembered it now that my Dads is doing the same thing. Brand new '14, after the first oil change at Ford the other day it now has this tick as well. Seems to be intermittent so far...interesting. Def be interested if there is any real solution...

The no start when cold has been fixed, it was the IPR. However, the hard hot start still persists. The mechanic says he pressure tested the HPOP system, and there were no leaks, etc. Is this a fuel issue? Injectors? All it takes is a small whiff of ether to start (I know I shouldn't use...

My brother has a 2005 SCSB, and he welded the frame like this build, but then welded a square plate over the whole joint as well. If I had a setup like that, I wouldn't worry about it in the slightest. It's not like the frame is getting any smaller or thinner because of it...as long as you can...

Not a horrible day for fords..tomorrows events will show their true power and potential. They usually do well in the trailer events and sled pull. edit: I guess the sled pull is the third day.
