I have been having same issue when I bought our 03 excursion. I've tried just about everything and tested as much as I could also. Next thing I need to test is maf voltage to tps. 2 things that I haven't touched are torque converter and intercooler. But I don't have any exhaust or boost leaks...

Yes, they went in very easy along with Diamond eye 3.5 dp. Fixed the exhaust leak and no boost leak but still lags some down low. Just compared ebp, map, baro and not getting reading on baro. Not sure if it's the torque app or sensor now.

Well, good news and bad news for me. No boost leak at all. But leaking exhaust from up pipe and somewhere on downpipe. I was planning on getting the bd power up pipes and diamond eye turbo back that reuses cat, mine is hollowed. I can also locate a stock dp and just get a cat back exhaust for...

Sounds good. Before I just checked boots and intercooler at common spots and no soot on exhaust that I could see. I will try and rig something up to test them out. Thanks for the advice, I just wasn't sure if it would have been possible to have a bad turbo only.

Bummer. I don't think I have a leak from what I could see. Stock I can only hit about 20lbs unloaded and 25lbs with srl tune. Also previous owner did egr ****** used puck in uppipe but read that may be OK due to early design. I think I may try and replace uppipes with bd power and maybe add a...

Oh yes, forgot to mention current mods. Geared srl, cat removed with btm. Egr ******d with puck in uppipe and blue spring.

Currently have an 03 excursion but just sold 05 excursion with 04 motor and reman turbo on it. I could tell a big difference in turbo lag and responsiveness between the 2. Not sure if the reman was an 04 version or later. So, is there anything that I could do to help this 03 turbo perform better...

What brand injectors? Did you have issues before taking it in? Ficm harness?
