Thanks for all the input guys. BTW I did the ELC coolant from cat in my truck as we'll I did a lot of research and it's just the safest route to go.... Be SURE to flush it very well green and red or red and gold don't mix lol good luck

CAT ELC coolant recommended. you can get it at any cat dealer i pay 66 bicks for 5 gal and it did it for me.. be sure to pull the plus on side of block and flush out the gold real good.
i am installing a radiator on my truck this weekend due to the factory one leaking. 40,000 miles on truck. it is a 08... should i pull the pump and cover to look for the cavitation i know i heard something about the 08s ecspecially leaking. anyone done this? and can help further diganose this.
I had this problem as well carfully removed sensors from DPF and plugged them into truck and zip tied them and my idle went back down. i did manage to mangle one and had to get a new one from ford. it was about 40 bucks... and you need the three metal ones not the plastic one
Hey guys I narrowed it down to definitely loosing coolant from the fuel cooler resivor.... I haven't had much time diagnose any further anyone else have a fuel cooler go bad? I have warranty but don't wanna put exhaust and all that back to stock lol
I have a 08 6.4 DPF deleted 5 inch complete, EGR deleted, AFE intake, SCT tuned currently in the canned performance tune. I noticed when i rev it up to WOT fluids running out of the exhaust... it doesnt do it if i give it 3/4 throttle... i dont know if its coolant or fuel didnt smell like...
hey guys picked up a 2008 6.4 recently truck has exhaust, intake, EGR delete and SCT livewire... looking into doing a single turbo swap and injectors along with the dual fuelers. truck is a daily driver and want to take to the track this summer to see what its got.. what size turbo is suggested...
