quick update... i found the fuse in the cab was blown... replaced it... switch now works... locks the front drive shaft... I hear the pump turn on... but when I turn hard at slow speed it doesnt lunge like it would on dry pavement... so maybe the hubs arent locking?
Ok so I had the cab off to fix headgaskets and what not... so today i switched the switch to 4x4 high... nothing... no light no nothing... switching to low... nothing.... pushed the back up sensor mute button... nothing.... backed up to a wall no sensors..... so I is there something I can look...
Whelp.... more bad news... it went in for head gaskets and studs.... then they called .. need 10 push rods... 1 rocker.... and the worst part ... both heads are cracked...
Sooooo I fixed my DTC codes for the map and turbos which was caused by the EBP tube was completely clogged... used some brakeclean and a air compressor and cleaned the tube all out... replaced the sensor on top.... drove great.... baby turbo is actually building boost at low speeds like it...
So I have no signs of headgaskets issue.... Other then the coolant is going low.... So while I was under the truck putting on a new back pressure tube on I noticed this.... Looked like water mixed with the goldfish coolant I just added. What yall think?
yeah I cleaned that up... I mean I can pull it out again and clean it again and see if I missed something... the pig tail that ties into the wrapped bundle simple splice I new connector into it? or does it physically have a connection somewhere in that wrapped up bundle?
So I have the map sensor light and turbo light... I already replaced the MAP sensor then I clear it and it stays off till I turn the truck off and restart and it pops back up? Sensor is a motorcraft sensor.... any known issue here that im not doing right? Old one was cracked where it plugs in...
