    08 Ford F250

Posting for a friend. This is NOT my truck, His contact info is at the bottom. The Craigslist ad at the bottom has the price as well. For Sale- 2008 Ford F-250 Crew Cab Lariat Diesel 6.4 Power Stroke Very clean truck, NO RUST, - not driven in winter last 4 years. Mechanic owned- needs nothing...

What have you done to your powerstroke today?

I hit one a couple years back in my Chevy 2500HD. $3600 in damage. Grill, bumper, filler pieces, bumper brackets, a/c condensor, trans cooler, head lights, fog lights, and turn signals, pushed the drivers side fender back 1/4", dented the intercooler, etc. What a mess, these deer in IL don't...

Let's see your 11'-15' crew cab dually.

I plan to do the same on my 550 before next winter. I've always liked the Toyo tires I had on my past 3/4 ton pickup but I might have to reconsider my choice for my 550. I've been eyeing up the XDS2's but they're $$$ but everyone who has them says they're happy with them and would likely get...

    super duty picture thread:

That's a sharp looking work truck no matter what bed it has. I have a flatbed on my pickup, I had it for about a year without underbed boxes and just a fuel tank/toolbox combo deal on the bed. Now that I have 4 underbed boxes I can carry everything that was in the toolbox on the bed plus about...

    Improving ride in new f450

How would you say the unloaded ride quality is compared to an F250 or F350 single wheel?

    Improving ride in new f450

Load it like a freight train, run it like an airplane 2011-? Maybe 13/14 or so were 8 lug. They seemed to mostly be an over glorified 350 with the wider front end but still ran the 17" wheels. No idea why Ford made the 450 pickups weird for a few years.

    Improving ride in new f450

How far are you shifting the machine forward? If you're going a few feet I could see the issue, sometimes you only need to move something a foot or less and it totally changes how things ride. 28k for truck, trailer, and load? No matter what you do, stock suspension, air ride, etc it all...

    Improving ride in new f450

Kelderman air ride should fix the ride quality I'd think. If the truck is jerking and bucking with a trailer I'd say you have the trailer loaded wrong. If I have my gooseneck loaded right I can hardly tell it's there behind my 550. However if the weights are all in the wrong spot it'll tell...

I'd agree with that. I'd definitely drive that as my DD and keep my 550 for towing.

    What Do You Tow?

I can't get over how clean your guys pickups down south stay. A friend of mine has a 99 that could have passed for a twin to your truck back in the day. Lets just say that 17 years and almost 300k worth of Midwest life has done a number to it. It needs a box, tailgate, cab corners, rockers...

I'd never have guessed that truck had 250k on it. That's pretty good mileage for a newer truck.

That's a neat idea. I've have my boss plow plugs sitting in the bumper and the block heater cord wrapped around one of the plow plugs to hold it up there as well. Not as organized as yours but mine stay pretty hidden in the bumper unless you look for them. Did you have to rebuild the front...

That's a sharp looking truck. I like the single wheel front wheels on it vs the normal dually style. Is the plate in the bumper various air hookups?

Led bulbs won't last in newer superduty?

I have a 2012 F550 and am having trouble getting led bulbs in the mirrors and the cab lights to last more then a few months. The factory bulbs lasted for years and the led's can't seem to make it 6 months before they all quit working. Does anyone have a suggestion for where my trouble might be...
