I thought the same thing, but it's the same noise whether I'm make boost or not lol. It's still on the truck, just not in use. I should say that when I first run the truck in the morning it's non-existent, but once I've driven her throughout the day it comes back.

EGR is still there, just off. Coolant seems to be good. The smell is something of a burnout box at the strip. I plan on pulling the EGR valve this weekend to check it out.

Sorry, that would probably help. Studded Motor, 03 Turbo, Stock Injectors (25,000 miles on them), Straight Pipe, and the White Rain Tune.

Just noticed this issue last week. On any sort of cold start there will be a small puff of white smoke, doesn't really smell like fuel but more like something burnt. If I shut the truck off and immediately start it again there is no smoke. Truck runs like an ape and haven't noticed any...
