    I saw guy at work take the spring tower out and get it out that way, grade 8 bolts to put it back on, i didnt think it was a good idea but the truck was always loaded and plowed with never saw anything bad come of it. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk

    Check the bolts that hold the piece that the shift cable attaches to the column on. They are 2 torx bolts that go in from the back side, bet they are loose. If not the cable could be stretched. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk

    First issue, not sure what happened

    Just change one at a time and the truck will never loose power. Shouldn't matter even if you did unhook them both, but if it will ease your mind one at a time is the way to go, just be careful not to touch the positive to anything metal Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
