    Use mine for work, not nearly as rough as the oil fields are on a truck but non the less used for work.     6.4L Glow Plug Codes and Replacement

    I find the 6.4 starts really good in the cold. I hate to admit it and I hate that I do it but I've started the old girl on -30 celsius with out waiting for glow plugs at all. That's sitting over night not plugged in. She rattles and clanks and bangs and blows smoke but shortly clears up.

    6.4 pull truck mild build

    Where in Ontario are you, I'm from Trenton just west of Belleville. I've only pulled once at the end of last season and loved it in the local class. Waiting to pay the truck off before I get to "into" it.

    Cold start question

    Their fine I live in Canada and mine is hardly plugged in. The coldest its started read off the spartan was -2 oil, -6 coolant. She fired up, no it took a while before I drove it because I am anal about moving it if coolant and/or oil are bellow 100
