OK pulled the wheels and everything looked good. Re torqued them and shake is gone. Thanks for the help guys. Now I'm off to figure out my oil level issue lol.

The bearings and studs are all new. New rotors new brake pads even the u joints and axle shafts are new. I may take the wheels off because now I have a decent vibration I didn't have yesterday. I did have the lug nuts torqued to 110 ft/lbs till I found they needed to be more so now they are...

No sir everything is new. I tightened the studs by double nuts no lock tight but they are tight. I pulled the front wheels off this morning and Re torqued the nuts to 133 ft/lbs and the lug nuts to 150 ft/lbs. Now I have a vibration between 55-65 mph. Didn't vibrate till I Re torqued...

Hey guys I finished working on my truck. Replaced the front hub assembly on both sides as well as new stubby axle shafts new seals thrust washer's and brakes. Anyway in my buddies manual it says torque the 4 nuts that hold the bearing assembly to the nuckle to 55 lb/ft. That sounds low to...

When it leaks does it run down the oil pan? I'm doing some work too my truck and passenger side of oil pan is covered in oil. Truck has 275,000 miles.

Not sure haven't pulled the axle yet. Hopefully my problem is the bearing. With the hubs unlocked you couldn't drive past 30-35 without alot of vibration somewhere in the front end. Nothing feels loose and the tire would turn easy. I have parts for both sides. New bearings stubby axle shafts...

I have a 3 ton floor jack and some 6 ton jack stands. I'm just gonna have one side up at a time. Not sure how long it will take I will do a little at a time. Hopefully not more than a couple days per side. I will keep you guys posted on my progress which will be slow

Thanks guys I have new bearings for both sides plus new outer axle shafts with new seals and u joints as well. Just getting some other things together and hope to be trying to change things out. I'm no mechanic but gonna wing it and see if I can get it done.
