Well i have an s&b intake and Patriot tuning.. since the last tune update i noticed a slight drop in mileage outside of my normal winter drop. I am wondering if putting the factory air box may improve mileage since i am only running a near stock power tune. Maybe im just crazy but im going to try.

Ok, i got my intake on tonight and went for a spin.. Now, i am a fan of some engine noise but this thing is odd. My ole 7.3 and 6.4 gained a nice tone from intakes. I hear a drone that comes in and out while driving that reminds mw of the exhaust valve on my 7.3. Is this just the egr cycling?
