Currently have an 03 excursion but just sold 05 excursion with 04 motor and reman turbo on it. I could tell a big difference in turbo lag and responsiveness between the 2. Not sure if the reman was an 04 version or later. So, is there anything that I could do to help this 03 turbo perform better...

I believe I'm needing my uppipes repaired or replaced due to severe turbo lag. I was looking at the bd uppipes or having vibrant replacement on factory ones. What is everyone using? Also, my engine is 03 so either add 05 heatshield or contemplating leaving off and just wrap them
