    6.0 Tow Recipe

I thought with compounds you would need 205cc or larger injectors to get enough fuel? As for the t-stat, Mishimoto fails open...and IF it fails or doesn't hold advertised temp, it gets replaced for free with paid shipping...for life

    6.0 Tow Recipe

I do intend to buy a newer truck down the road. But right now I'm car note free and I'm enjoying it, so I'm looking at it with the project/sleeper mindset

    6.0 Tow Recipe

Industrial Injection makes the towing twins and racing twins. Think I stumbled across a couple other makers that I wasn't very impressed with. Just Google 6.0 compounds

    6.0 Tow Recipe

I may go the KC stage 2 route. Although, 1300-1350 is still a little higher than I want on EGTs. I rode in a 6.0 a year or so ago...just under 19k lbs (not including the truck) turn at a traffic light and immediately climb up a 3 mile 7% grade at 65-67 mph and it only showed 1150-1175 EGTs...it...

    6.0 ALRADCO Radiator

Well, just got informed that First Coast Diesel no longer deals with Alradco and hasn't updated their website...apparently, the seams are prone to cracking due to low penetration of the TIG welds. Which wouldn't be the end of the world with the lifetime warranty, but apparently that isn't being...

    6.0 Tow Recipe

Knew I forgot to mention something, I had looked at the Colt cams and wanted to get one. Who wrote your tunes to get the 190/30s to tow? Thought you wouldn't want to go above 175s to tow unless running compounds?

    6.0 Tow Recipe

Negative on the stock thermostat, had 2 fail within less than 20k miles. Brand new out of the box only held 186*F...but it's set at 192*F. After holding such low temperature as brand new, it quickly faded to low 180s on the first one and high 170s on the second one...I'm good without it. If not...

    6.0 Tow Recipe

I have a 2007 F250 Lariat FX4 CCSB with the 5R110, and am wanting to make it a towing monster. I'm not just looking for mild ideas like a Powermax, I want to hook up to 15k+ and forget it's back there...I am not worried about a budget, as this will be happening over time with my next couple of...

    Mileage ?

No call for the attitudes, simply asked a question about the 6.7 since I'm considering buying one. Is this community not the place to ask questions? I made the comparison to my 6.0 because that is what I know, I apologize for not being a trust fund baby buying every new truck as soon as it comes...

    Mileage ?

Got it. No emissions vs. emissions makes sense...wish the EPA would just rot in a hole somewhere... I know the 6.7 makes power, I had one as a rental while my 6.0 was being fixed due to a break-in...gave that 6.7 hell for 2 weeks

    Mileage ?

Is the mileage on the 6.7 really that bad? I figured it would have improved over the years...my 6.0 still has stock injectors and turbo, so I'm not dumping a lot of fuel, but with my SCT on IDP's Performance tune (now called "Race" I believe, whatever they call the one above "Street" these...

Trade 20x10 fuel mavricks with 35x12.50 for stock 20's

I have a 2007 6.0 Lariat with stock wheels...I cant give pictures of MY setup as the truck is in the shop with the cab off for another week or so. However, I will add some from google of exactly what I have. Tires were brand new when I bought the truck in April 2015, still approximately 60-70%...

    Another Stroker

Thank you for the appreciation, not as common as it should be these days... I'm a little late to replying on this, sorry about that. I will get some pictures up when I get it back from the shop later this coming week. Cab is off as we speak :lookaround:

    Looks like coolant trouble...

Well, coolant leak was found at the radiator...plastic tank separated from the core. I ordered an Alradco radiator. EGR cooler was also cracked. Good thing I decided to just go ahead with the rebuild...

    6.0 ALRADCO Radiator

There would still be a benefit to replacing the OEM with a factory sized aluminum radiator. As I just mentioned, one of the factory plastic tanks started separating from the core. Apparently, this is fairly common. An all aluminum unit won't have this issue, even if it is the OEM size. For those...
