Diesel Performance Converters makes a good standard triple disk for reasonable price. Think they've got it listed for 795 on their site and 695 on XDP. But if you call in and ask if he's got any deals going he might hook you up.

I was able to do it with a normal 7/8 combo wrench, no modifications. But I like the idea of the weld trick, gonna have to try that on the next one.

I'm assuming all the E G R junk is unplugged? How about the wiring/connector at the EBP and MAP? Good LPFP?

Any body else seen this issue? Maybe just a quirk of the older PCMs. I've also noticed that when I first crank the truck up for the day and go drive, the CTS2 will stay on and reading. If I go somewhere, shut the truck off for 15-20 minutes and then leave, the CTS2 can't read the PCM and shuts...

I've been searching like crazy and haven't found an answer to this. When scanning with my CTS2 or AE, it will read just fine, but after some amount of time it stops reading. It's like the PCM just times out. If I shut the truck off for a few seconds and start at back up it will work fine again...

Just for the record, Deyton at Evil Diesel Injection is great to deal with. I've used his 6.0 and 7.3 injectors. He does have a flow bench and does a lot of local business. As far as I know, he doesn't have a website or sell online, but will ship anywhere if you call him. Or message him on FB...
