Does the 6.4 gear reduction starter work on a 6.0. Or can I just get a gear reduction starter ? I have had my truck for almost two years and not in goin on my third starter.

Are the 5r110 out of the 6.4 better than the ones in our 6.0? If so are they compatible Also does the 6 speed trans bolt up ??

Pulled the egr valve out. From what I can see it is just like a black chalk. The intake looks like there is a lot of it in there. With a small spot , maybe the size of a quater that looks wet. So does that still mean egr is bad or can that be head gaskets ? Truck smokes a lot when accelerating...

Opened my degas bottle today hole truck was running. Noticed that there was a white foam in the coolant. I have a coolant filtration system too :s.

Has any one delt with frozen booster for inter cooler use ? How do they hold up. I see they are much cheaper than a lot of others.

When I first got my truck I replaced the egr cooler. Not knowing about the oil coolers...4 months later egr cooler is gone again. So I want to do it right this time. Head studs, head gaskets new oil cooler and egr. Is there a preferred place to buy from. Thanks for your input !

Turbo went in my truck. I have been looking around at turbos. Particularly liked the kc turbos. Would I have to do injectors with the 2.0? And how much more power does it make compared to say. A powermax. Or a 1.5. Thanks !
