Thanks. I've never had a fuel filter stop up that fast. I usually change mine every other PM service. May need to reevaluate that . Once again, THANKS. Vic

Update: Took truck to trans shop on Tuesday that did rebuild. After showing him the video he concurs that there is a issue. Called today to check on the progress. They found : unit was 1 qt low due to bad pan / gasket neutral switch had fluid in it filter had a crack near the top where it goes...

Is there a way to diagnose this with out removing the trans?

Did you get a flashing OD light? If so could be the converter gone bad. Thats what happened to mine the 1st time. You'll need to get a sample of fluid or drop the pan. If the fluid looks like metallic paint you'll have to rebuild it anyway to get the metal shavings out of the case...
