    Question about aftereffects on egr delete

    While I didn't see anything like that, my turbo wouldn't cycle properly until I re-plugged in the EGR valve itself. It's laying on the intake manifold, but it completing the connection enabled my turbo to cycle properly.

    It really depends on what you re doing with it. If you're hauling/towing, then yeah, gear it. If it's a daily commuter, then a set of gears might help, but not required, it's personal preference at that point.

    The last time that I had a problem like that it turned out that I had forgotten to take the pilot busing out of my crate motor's crank. Therefore, I would measure the OD of the converter snout and the ID of the crank center. It sounds like there is an interference issue there.

    .093!?! That seems huge considering that Nitrous Oxide Systems calls for a .067 front and rear for their 125 plate shot. Is this .093 jet a recommendation from a manufacturer or through trial and error?

    It's not so much that you are naming you backspace as it is the 05 and up use a different backspace than the 99-04. Therefore, 99-04 wheels on an 05 and up will stick out farther than wheels for an 05 and up.

    Why not run 10s front and rear but with less back spacing on the rears? Say a 6" backspace (typical on most 05s and up) on the front and a 4.25 or 4.5 backspace (typical on 99-04s) on the rear.
