All those from Montana... Post up!!!

Not sure if anybody is still watching this thread, but I'm looking for a reputable 6.0 mechanic in the Helena, MT area that could take a look at a 6.0 that I just bought. I am not from the area. Could be in the Bozeman or Missoula area also. Any leads let me know! Thanks!! Sent from my SM-G930V...

    205/30 T4 s369 vs s364.5

What injectors are you running? Other than it not working well over 30 psi of boost, how would you compare it to the 366? Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

    205/30 T4 s369 vs s364.5

I'm being picked for sure, because this setup works really well. But if I can get egts a little cooler, and a little cleaner rear fender I would be happy. Would also be interested in seeing if my oil temperature would go down a little. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

    205/30 T4 s369 vs s364.5

KCTurbos, do you have any feedback from Jbolen on what is a better tow setup with the 238/80s? I'm running a sxe366 right now, but am tempted to try the 364.5 Thanks! Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

That's good to hear. I need to try some more tuning adjustments. Mine haze smoke a very large amount. I used to have 230/100 B codes and they did not smoke this bad. Engine starts and sounds good, but real smokey. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Man funny you guys are bringing up cold haze...I sure would love to get my cold hazing figured out. Fresh engine and 238 80 injectors. Cold starts are really hazey. Is bad from anything 65 degrees or so and down. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Let us know how that 364.5 works with the 238/80s. I've been thinking about making the same move. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Liquidlounge, I believe you are correct. I've got one on my Excursion with stick injectors and it works excellent. Planning for 160/00s sometime later this year. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Tmccoy, what made you want to change from the 364.5 to the 366 in the first place? Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

    160/100 vs 205/30 Injector Testing

Good info. Did you try the 365.4 with the .91 housing? Thats probably what I would try if I went down a size. Looking to get rid of that lower boost smoke also. Matt does a good job with it if I leave it in the Tow/Econo file, but I would like more fuel at about 1800 then that file will give...

    160/100 vs 205/30 Injector Testing

I appreciate all the testing and info on these combos also. It's nice to see some 7.3 die hards still going strong. I also am running a fresh set of 238/80s with a 366SXE in my freshly built 7.3. Its in a truck that I put together for towing. So far I really like the setup, but would really...

    Fuel rail fluctuations. P0087, P2291

No, not after a shift. It does it whenever, mostly on the first acceleration after a decent idle.

    Fuel rail fluctuations. P0087, P2291

Hey guys got a 6.4 that I'm a little stumped on. Wondering if anybody has any input. 2008 6.4 that would fall on its face on first acceleration, rail pressure would drop to 1200psi and then bounce back to the commanded 8,000psi after a second or two. Had codes P0087 and P2291. Otherwise truck...
