Maybe something to do with the throttle body? It's an 04 truck. I don't know if it's the same as the 05 and newer trucks.

New to manual transmissions. Never driven a manual 6.0 before I purchased this truck. Just curious about it revving up between shifts. Doesn't matter weather I use the clutch or not. Between shifts it always jumps 500-1000 Rpms is this normal or do I have a problem somewhere?

What do I need to convert my 04 dash to an 05-07 dash. Does it matter if I use an 05 dash harness or a 07 dash harness. Can I use my dash harness. Do I need the whole dash or does the 05 dash cover fit on the 04 dash? Any input would be helpful thanks in advance.
