Thats good. Truck I fixed blew piston in half but no contact with head. All heat related issues. We went back with the IH pistons also

How did the heads look when u had them checked? I built an 08 and both heads were trashed with cracked exhaust seats. Truck had 78k and bout 2k was a programmer.

Wouldnt not placing the stud all way down stop it from happening?? Ive heard of many say stop a 1/4 turn from bottoming out so if they do decide to strech that it gives it room and not bust block. I know on my Dodge I did that route

This truck only has an h&s tuner. Not alot of hp there.

So after my last post I made bout the blown motor. Has busted piston. Bent rod number 7. Now just got the heads checked and between both there is 6 cracks in the recess for the exhaust valves. Is this normal for that many cracks or self inflected from the guy driving?

Plus ur water pump, belts, misc filters, fluids and what ever else

Friends truck is throwing these codes. Its not leaking oil unless under pressure and coming from just above oil pan gasket or might be oil pan gasket on right side of motor. Figure the injector is out but cant figure the oil out unless its a cracked piston. No obvious signs of coolent usage or...
