I recently deleted the coolant reservoir for the fuel cooler and I'm trying to figure out what to do with the fuel cooler pump that was used in that system.

Why? Common rail systems develop a shit load of heat in the fuel, and need to be cooled somehow. Did you relocate the cooler or something?

yes i went with a old elite kit that doesnt use coolant only air

An, ok. The pump should just have 2 or 3 bolts that hold it to the lower fan shroud. Disconnect the hoses from it, yank it out. If you’re ditching the radiator for it too, that’s 1 bolt, and lift it up, it’ll slide out of the trans cooler or condenser bracket it’s slid into. Then pull the hoses out, and it’s done. The bolts for the pump are shoved in the rubber holder for it, and may not fully come out of the rubber. They will come out of the fan shroud though, and be able to remove the pump. Should be 8mm heads, radiator bolt should be a 10mm
