Plug the return side fuel line before the HFCM and fuel pressure will jump to around 100+psi and the pump howls like its going to fly to pieces. My suggestion first off would be to measure pressure with another gauge to verify your gauge is reading correct. That does seem high for a stock system with only the blue spring.
