has anyone plunked down the cash for a GTX4294R?

I know most are plenty happy with the standard BW turbo options on T4 kits, but I find the idea of going with a more primo ball bearing turbo very appealing. I've found little to no real information about anyone's experience running the Garrett GTX4294R charger, but I definitely feel its worth discussing and potentially considering. As an aside, it would be very compelling if Garrett made a similar but slightly smaller charger.

Members on here have run the gtx4294r turbo. Most that have might not post anymore.

The general consensus is it's a great DD/towing turbo since it lights relatively fast but can still get you over 600rwhp.

My personal thoughts are the turbine wheel is on the small side for a 7.3 for bigger injectors that are being utilized to there full potential. Kind of like the s467.7. Great turbo, just to small of a turbine wheel for full potential. Another reason it makes a good towing turbo.

Hopefully other's chime in.
