I have a Dana 60 I got to convert my 99 truck. The Axle Bill of Materials (BOM) is 2008007-1. When I look that up it corresponds to 2007-2008 Ford Front Axles. I always see reference to 2005-2007 front axles, then 2008-2010. So I surmise there is a difference between the 2007 and 2008.
Looks like the calipers are the same.
I think the sway bars are different, but not sure there were any changes to the axle.
Is the only difference the brake hoses?
Anyone know a solid way to determine if it is an 07 or 08 axle?
