2020 6.7 pickup
T&D for several years but customer says recently it has started being low on power after a hard WOT pull. If you’re running 60 on the highway and go wide open it’ll set you back in the seat as expected and you can run it hard all the way up to the speed limiter. Boost reaches 33-35 psi. Let off and let it coast back down and then immediately get back into the throttle and it almost feels like half power. Like a limp mode from overboost or something. But there are no codes. Drive down the road less than a mile and then you have full power again almost like limp mode reset or something. They claim it isn’t tuning related and without me trying different tuning I can’t confirm that. Anybody ever seen an issue like this? Is 35psi pretty standard on the 20+ trucks?
Another shop has replaced MAF sensor and I performed a MAF reset on it using FDRS. Not sure what brand sensor though. I may swap a known good sensor onto it tomorrow.
Vgt% and desired vgt% always match
