Long story short. Almost done with EGR delete and minding my own business, when this coolant pipe to the lower cooler decided to break off. I thought, cool... I have pry bars, no problem. When I say this thing is frozen on, I mean it's bad...

I have a pipe extractor not in it right now, but this thing will not break free. I broke my ratchet trying. Hit it with the impact for 5 mins straight. I'm running out of time and options at this point.

Any ideas on what the replacement for this water outlet is called? Or any ideas for removing this pipe?

So, if you can’t get it out, you’ll need a front cover. You can try a torch, and try and basically burn the o ring out of it. I’ve done that on a few 6.0s when the heater tube is stuck. Have broken a couple of front covers doing it, but I’m probably 50-50 on it working.

Fortunately I was able to drill it out with a step bit that fit it perfectly. Just waiting on my tuner to get here from SCT
