What and who is everyone turning to these days for the best looking black wheels?

First I loved the RS2's and then I got them. I think they're ok still, but that is getting old pretty fast. I have them in 20's because 22 is too much for me and for what I do with the truck. I also love the look of the 20x10 Novakanes, but no one has them around here on their trucks, so that might speak to the satisfaction and/or longevity of the wheels.

Please post your photos so I can see what everyone is running with these days, and tell the members your complete specs on the wheels/tires with a little input if possible! I will start with mine first (before the build).

Thanks so much.

I went with the BMF Rehabs on mine. They are the 22x10's. 22's are probably more than you want but worked for my non-towing/street only setup.

just for a different wheel, but I really do like how they look. I had one of the original sets back in 2009 and by 2010 the finish was starting to come off. This set has been on for 2 years and still look great. I am hoping to get another set for my 79 project so they match

So, would one seek a clear coat of some kind? (I am assuming the factory finish itself is not)

I am going to be leveled once the truck comes back from the shop, so I wonder if the 20x10's on 35x13.50 Toyos will look nice...

It's powdercoat so a clearcoat isn't necessary. I like mine. I like that they have some shape and style to the spokes unlike the AF/SF wheels.

Are the majority of those who choose to go with these NOVAKANE wheels buying with the Stealth versions, or is the regular model nicer because of it's ability to bring out the design better with black-on-chrome accents?

The matte finish always looks dirty to me so I went with gloss.

BMF Novakane is a classic wheel for sure, one of my all time favs.

BMF has some other nice new styles like the Rehab that Dallas has above.

If your in the cast wheel price range my other likes are Fuel Maverick, XD Grenade, Hostile Excile.

If your looking at Forged pricing, the new Fuel Forged line has some great styles, Specialty Forged is pure awesome, and of course theres always american force.

Chris, let me know when you pick something or if you have any questions and ill help you get what you need.

I know this thread is about black wheels. I have the newest style chrome PVD Novakanes on my truck, and they are holding up fantastic. When I bought them I talked to BMF before ordering, they said all of their wheels are clear coated no matter what color they are.
