It isn't just the daytime running lights dimming it on and off is it? My truck does this in the middle of the freakin day if there is a cloud covering the sun. Drives me crazy and I kill the auto on lights so the H&S doesn't dim and make it really hard to see on a bright sunny day...

I was told to pound sand when mine got dark spots on it after only 2 years. Bought it from xdp....they would have swapped it out for me but they had none and couldn't get any at the time. Called h&s and was told to be gentle with it lol

oh sweet, guess im going to have to figure out how to make a bullydog screen work
I was told that wouldn't work either by h&s. Best bet is to try to find a used unit in good condition or get tuning from the other guys

Bully Dog GT screen will absolutely replace the mini Maxx screen. Doesn't work on an XRT PRO though oddly enough

It's a pain. But not horrible. Worst part is cracking them open. Start on the bully in case you mess up LOL

I just use a knife to work around and split them open.

Once you get in there, the screen connector is just a simple little tab connector.

5-10 strategically placed drops odds super glue to button it back up.

Don't get bummed when it doesn't look virgin anymore LOL. I've done maybe ten of them, and you can always easily tell that it's been repaired

It's super glued together, so I don't know that heat will work. I just use my pocket knife. It's like opening a fragile oyster LOL
