Hard to tell from the picture, is that the “new” style that’s all 1 piece, or the old style with the removable wear ring?

Did it have the flex plate spacer on it? Any crank walk?

Looks to be the updated with wear ring and already factory coated loctite. Def pushed in with tool, it's clean on face. Just don't know why it's chewed up from cam gear..

Crank just barely barely trusts back an forth

If someone put the plastic install ring backwards in tool I can see it pushing it further in

Kinda hard to put the plastic piece in wrong, but I’ve seen some really dumb **** from people.

Any cam walk? Like someone put an aftermarket cam in and didn’t press the gear on all the way?

I can't see any crank or cam walk and I can see the cam protruding beyond the cam gear so it's in place.
