Truck will not build over 4-4.13v Icp even on stock tune. It has a New Thumper II Hpop, 6month old Premium WDI 205/30 injectors, WDI high flow stand pipes and New nipple cups and o-rings. I’ve tried New Icp and ipr(motorcraft) it just stops and holds at 4-4.13v. I can run 120psi through the ipr port with the motor hot and no leaks even after 2hours. Anyone have to use argon/nitrogen tank to find a leak above 200psi?

What's the psi it's reading?

I know you should judge off voltage cause psi is an inferred reading, but doing this for 12 years I've never been let Down going off of PSI

I haven’t checked the psi on the stock tuning only voltage. I have WDI tunes so the Icp psi is fooled so it starts off around 1100psi at idle and only reads up to about 2300 wot

Do you have Sync and FICM Sync?

The truck starts and runs fine the issue i have is it’s not building full Icp at WOT it’s about 500psi low of desired which is why I believe it has a high pressure oil leak but it doesn’t show under normal 120psi shop air testing

Like mentioned before data log the ipr % and report back. It maybe a pump or injector not holding pressure. What’s the smoke output at wot?

Never had to replace the nipple cups and orings on the oil rails. Might have a leak there

I replaced the nipple cups cause the had some wear at the ends and were loose there was no change in pressure after changing them and I’ve air tested it after with no leaks ipr % is maxed out I’ve also tried a new ipr with no change

If the truck is running fine and has full power then why are you worrying about max icp? Just curious. If ipr isn’t maxing at 85% then I’d think it’s fine.

The ipr is maxing out 85%. The pump
Is a New thumper II I’ve already been through my stock pump which held more Icp then the thumper I. Now I have a thumper II which is holding better Icp then the other two but it’s still not holding max Icp about 3400psi, the engine is calling for 3900+psi I’m about 500psi low the way I see it there is more efficiency/power to be had, so I believe either I have a high pressure oil leak or possible the low pressure side has some kind of blockage? But like I said I’ve air tested the system directly through the ipr port and had zero leaks even after 2hrs on a hot motor

How does the truck run at wot? Does it pull hard or just lay over? Smoke? Is it worst in the big tune?

Seems to pull pretty good on the race tune smoke isn’t much worse then my 175/30’s I had before but egts keep climbing my 175s would stop around 1450, I’ve noticed on the stock and tow tune it seems like it’s surging on the top end
