i used a porta power with the duckbill on it for the drivers side and it dropped right in there. took two people to get it in there too. One on top to hold it and one on the bottom to guide it.

:)
it just needed the slightest bit more to clear the protrusion on the head.
now the firewall destruction part for the downpipe.
I am going to replace the cab mounts first to see if I need to dimple the spot by the windshield wiper motor or not, its just kissing there
both oil feed and return seem too long so going to have to look at that

I am installing the same kit at the shop. The drain line is a little tricky to get, but it does work.

Ive always found the easiest way to get the drain in is to attach it too the center section and insert the drain on the fitting and the stuff the charger into the exhaust housing. Then do up the drain. Get er sittin pretty and run the clamp up on the center section

What turbo is that?

s467 I bought from Alamo in Alberta
BD quoted me a really great price (almost $500 cheaper then everywhere else) in June but they dont stock it.
it still had not arrived in Oct when I was there buying boots.
if someone local needs one of these go in and talk to Bruce as he still said it was coming.

My return line was a bit long and eventually cracked because of the angle it was sitting at. You may want to look into a solution before you finish it and end up with a leak later

plenums were harder then I thought they would be.
that one bolt cant be removed without pulling front cover by the looks of it
with it backed out as far as it goes the plenums just slide under it, not giving you much of a chance to get a nice silicon bead.
the -04 return line fitting makes contact with the plenum so I will have to watch close for a leak there

sharpie mark showing plenum ID. I can see that causing an issue. the plenum side exacerbates the potential issue.

made some hardlines for the HPOP

next the fuel system

the beauty of buying all the tools is that I can change the lines at a whim, Dave.
I need a nicer bender though as I am forming the lines with a cheapo designed for soft fuel lines so I am kind of stuck with the CLR of it until I buy a fancy one.
I was amazed it worked at all and I am certain I will get better with practice.
the stainless line is only $1 a foot and I like the look of it.
if I decide to get all fancy with it I can probably math it out in my BendtechPro bending software but those 2 bends I just eyeballed it.
do you think the oil will flow in crooked lines Dave?
