Ordered a 22 F350 ccsb in June and it should be here in the next few weeks. I'm trying to get parts together now to lower it the day I get it. I broke my back Easter and its a struggle getting in and out of stock height trucks so a little lower will help me out. I've always liked the look of lowered dutys specially around me its nothing but lifted stuff.

Plan on doing 4800 front coils and taking the blocks out. Going to cut the front bumpstops down. 5C3Z5310FA coils I believe.

Would like to do some Kings but its next to impossible for me to find any info on Kings for lower than stock height. If anyone has part numbers for them that would be sweet if not I'll call King in the next week or so to see what they say.

Does Ford offer and U bolt for a 350 with overloads and no block or is that something I'll need to track down aftermarket? If so any suggestions?

Is there anything else recommened when lowering a duty? Trac bar? Traction bars?

Dude!! You're the man I only thought they just did intake stuff!
On the site now their kit offers Icon shocks, which I'm not oppesed to. going to give them a call tomorrow and see what they say about some kings as well.

Probably a dumb question but the 350s have the 4" axles right?

No, 12 bolt 3.5" axles.

F450 has 4" axles.

That kit comes with 4400# coils and I would get 2.5" shocks.

I'll be doing this exact kit on my 22 when it gets here although I wont be lowering the front, just the rear.

SHii my buddy has a 21 350 and his supposedly had a 14 bolt unless he cant count when I asked him to look for me last week before I ordered the kit. So I figured 22s would be the same lol, might need to get 3.5 ubolts when the truck gets here. Went with the 2.5 shocks wasn't sure on the #4400 coils either I know the 20+ front ends are shorter than 17-19s so was going to yank the block throw the shocks on and see how everything looked before putting the coils on. I was really liking the look of #4800 coils so we will see how everything goes. I havent got a build date yet and the 22nd will be 2 months since I ordered it.

Edit: I googled it so not sure how true it is, lol but the diameter on the dana M275 axle tubes is supposed to be 4" hopefully thats true if not nothing new ubolts cant fix

I forgot. The 17+ trucks have two different rear ends. Standard rear ends are the old sterling 10.25 axles and the the trucks with the heavier tow package options have M275 axles which are bigger in retrospect than the sterling.

So really you'd have to check which rear end the truck has first.

All 350 single wheel trucks with the power stroke have the bigger m275 rear axle, with 4 inch tubes as well as some 250s with the tow package. The other 250s will have the sterling axle.

Also the 350 dually and the 450 comes with the m300 Dana axle and those have 4.5 axle tubes, the 350 duallys axle shaft is just a bit smaller in diameter and comes in 37 spline where the 450 is a 41 spline.

Sweet looks like we got that figured out! Just wondering what were the wheel and tire specs you had on your 17? Everything I like is -44 since every company uses the same place for wheel blanks for 22x12s it seems like. Not trying to rub, but also want to be able to tow and not sure I want to run a tire with small side walls

First time I had 22x12 on 33x12.50. I'll never run that again. I trashed the wheels. Othersetup was 20x10 on 305/55 tires. I like that setup a lot. Would run again for sure. My last setup that I kept for my 22' truck, is 22x10 on 305/50. I really like that setup too.

12 wides on 33s don't work for me. Short sidewall will not protect the lip and curbs and potholes will *** your wheels up badly.
