I couldn’t find anything that fit my specific situation…so here goes.
(97 7.3, Irate filter housing with new Walboro GSL392, new filters. Irate regulated return freshly rebuilt regulator and new gauge).

I pulled the motor due to a cracked timing cover, sealed and re-installed. Injectors never came out. Since reinstall the motor will fire after 10-15sec of cranking. But I never see any fuel pressure and the truck runs sluggish. I’ve run out ideas to look at, is there anything internally that would cause this?
Thanks in advance.

Do you have the lines hooked up correctly? I’ve seen that a couple of times. People put the return to the supply side, and the supply to the return so you have no fuel pressure due to the supply hitting the regulator.

Another thing would be, is the pump running? And have you tried pre filling the filters to get them to prime? With my air dog I have to run the pump for about a minute to purge all the air out of the filters before firing the truck after a filter change

Oddly enough, I rebuilt the regulator after realizing the lines were backwards. So…yeah they’re good now..🤦🏼‍♂️
The pump is definitely running and moving fuel. Verified by disconnecting the discharge line and pushing into a bucket, 3’ away.
