Question for the paint and body guys

Stupid mailman backed into my Excursion, hit it just right to bend the damn driver's door.
Found a matching one locally but off of an F350, so no keyless entry keypad.

Is it just a matter of carefully cutting a hole for the keypad, or do I need to find a door from an Ex?

I thought they were just stuck on with emblem tape.

Not sure if you picked up a door yet, but my 05 F350 has the keypad just like my '00 Ex. I'm just assuming they are the same, I believe they are... Just need a higher trim level that has the option

I understand that...my question is about adding the keypad to a door that doesn't have it.

Gotcha. I guess I was more addressing the 'need to find a door from an Ex' part.

So the answer is yes. The keypad needs a small hole made but not flanged, so any door will work.
