I need to Find a speed signal for my PCS controller it has to be before any electronics, in other words the pulse signal from the pumpkin. Anyone know where such a monster is inside the cab? I'm about to run a wire all the way back to the rear end. Thanks

You need a wire schematic for your truck.
If it was me I'd just do like you said, no biggie to run a nice 2 wire down the frame to the pumpkin. Just splice into the wires at the sensor. Bam! Done!
The time it takes to go thru wiring and stuff you'd have it done already .

According to the EVTM, the VSS speed output wire is wire 679 Gray/Black at the back of the instrument panel at the Programmable Speedometer Odometer Module. Wire is in connector C252.

The two input wires to the VSS are wire 523 Red/Pink and wire 516 Light Green/Black, ssame connector C252 at instrument panel.

Pull out the instrument panel to get to it.

Here's a linky for the PSOM, the details for plug C252 is in one of the pictures. It shows which pin/wire you need to tap into.
